Some of my earliest memories are in the garage with my father鈥攁 firefighter who spent his days off turning wrenches and teaching me how engines work. Those moments didn鈥檛 just teach me mechanics; they sparked a lifelong love for automobiles.

Becoming a mechanic was my dream after high school, but life had other plans. Twenty-five years later, I made the hardest decision of my life: leaving a stable job to return to school for Automotive Technology. The risk was real, but so was the calling.

I鈥檓 the parent of five children, and every late night and sacrifice is for them. I want them to see that dreams don鈥檛 expire鈥攁nd that perseverance matters more than fear. I live by this truth from Rocky Balboa: 鈥淚t鈥檚 not about how hard you get hit; it鈥檚 about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.鈥�

This scholarship is more than financial support鈥攊t鈥檚 a belief. It鈥檚 allowing me to stay focused, keep moving forward, and build a future my family can be proud of. With this support, I鈥檓 determined to succeed and one day return to 吃瓜网 as an instructor鈥攈elping others take the first step toward their own dreams.
